Paris to Roubaix Zipper Pouch

Since the Worcester Public Library is just next door to the shop, I stopped in today for awhile. On my way out I passed the magnificent tribute to Major Taylor.

This evening I had another sewing class at Technocopia. This one was a zipper pouch class to learn how to use a zipper foot on the machine and get some more hands on practice in general.

I was looking through the material I have in my collection to choose what to use for my project. Thinking about today’s visit to the library memorial I decided to do a Paris-Roubaix theme bag. I had some antique bicycle themed fabric I have used before and some cobblestone pattern fabric I recently got.

I did not take any photos during the class because frankly I was working hard to keep up with the workflow. The final bag came out quite well IMHO.
