This was a simple project to get a work station in my bicycle shed before I built out the interior with permanent cabinetry. This stared like as a 6′ tall rolling food service grade rack. I removed about a foot from the top to accommodate the low roof lie at the back of the saltbox shed. A sacrificial particle board desk top was cheap and I would not be too up set by drilling into it or messing it up some other way, it was designed to be used hard and thrown away when done.
Cut outs for the uprights gave full coverage and locked the desktop in place. two hole and some zip ties at the back edge held it down . Big benefit of this design is that you can just rest some 4′ lights on the top shelf .
