I have played around with my sewing machine but never knew if I was doing it correct or if the machine was preforming as designed. Taking a formal class was a great move and I learned that I was not getting the most out of my efforts.
After a lesson on the anatomy of the Singer machines and a practice session on loading and threading, we set out to make simple cloth card wallets.
While mine came out as an obviously amateur attempt, I was quite pleased at how the flow of the work went. I will use this for my introduction cards that I carry on bicycle trips to both take info from people I meet and to give info to folks that are interested in my journey.
